How it all started.
The Beginning: 2019
Our love story began with a serendipitous introduction, facilitated by a mutual friend who was the nurse of Shawn’s mother. In early 2019, this mutual friend, seeing a spark of possibility, gave Shawn my number. With a mix of curiosity and hope, Shawn made the call that would change both our lives forever. Our first conversation was long and filled with laughter and a surprising depth of connection. We quickly discovered how much we had in common and decided to meet in person. On June 2nd, 2019, we had our first date, riding bikes through the charming streets of downtown Brooklyn, near the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. The evening culminated with a delightful dinner at a cozy restaurant in Manhattan, where we continued to share stories and dreams, finding ourselves more and more drawn to each other.
A Proposal to Remember: May 4th, 2023
Since that magical first date, we have been inseparable. Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments and adventures. We’ve traveled to beautiful destinations, creating cherished memories in places like Aruba and Dubai. It was in Dubai, amidst the stunning skyline and enchanting ambiance, that Shawn proposed to me on May 4th, 2023. With tears of joy and a resounding “yes,” we promised to spend our lives together.
